The Hong Kong Electronics Fair is the sourcing fair for consumer electronics made in the Pearl River Delta: run by the HKTDC in April and October at the Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, the autumn edition is the larger and coincides with electronicAsia for components and, across the harbour, with the lighting fair — a week in which buyers cover the whole electronics chain in one city.

About the fair
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council has run the Electronics Fair since 1980 as the export sourcing platform for Hong Kong and Guangdong electronics manufacturers. The autumn edition in October is the largest electronics fair in Asia by exhibitor count and runs with electronicAsia (components, materials, production technology); the spring edition in April is smaller and pairs with the International ICT Expo.
Product zones cover audio-visual, smart home, wearables, health tech, e-mobility, gaming, personal electronics, and OEM and ODM manufacturing; a Brand Name Gallery and start-up zones sit beside the volume manufacturers from Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou.
Hong Kong's position — outside mainland customs and visa regimes, an hour from Shenzhen by rail — makes the fair the entry point for buyers who want to source from Guangdong without a mainland visa, and the HKTDC's buyer services (matching, invitation letters, online marketplace) are among the most developed of any organiser.
Visitors are importers, distributors, retailers and brand owners from every market; most exhibitors quote for OEM production and offer factory visits across the border.
Admission is by pre-registration as a trade buyer; the fairs are not open to the public.
